Do you have this tool?

Looks interesting. How well does it work?
It will strip wires and twist them together all at the same time.

Why? It's totally illogical IMO. Why strip wires to permit twisting them together when it's much simpler to buy bare wire?
This looks like an AI-generated image to provoke responses.

My wife has a wire twisting tool in her stained glass studio. Hers does not strip the wires though. She uses it to make tiny cables to hang the heavier pieces. I have used it a couple times for shop projects. It works really good.

I have an awful lot of tools but I’m pretty sure this one won’t make it to my tool box. I think this tool will yield diminishing returns.

Thanks..
Next time I build a 200 unit apartment building I will get some for the electricians.

Nothing could be better than paying an electrician big money while he stands around trying to figure out the correct hole to stick wire in so that he can twist it together. For I would hate to see the results from sticking the #1 wire in the C hole and #2 in the B..

Thanks..

I know 3 union electricians that love them.

Seems like the center wire would just fall out.

And the wire nut install would unwind the twist as you tried to put it on.

Can likely twist it clockwise, probably an illustration by someone that has never seen those things in person ever before.

Thanks..

10-4 on that. What's even worse than their wages is when they use 20ft. of romex to go 10 feet.

Watching electricians you would think they gt a kickback from the wire manufacturers. with the waste they have Pull the 10 feet and cut of 12 just so they know they have enough and then toss it out rather than use it for a short run to a switch or something.

Re-read the description again.

Just to be safe I read it three times and it still says the same thing..

2.5 /4 square Millimeter.. Which in turn means four (4) 2.5 mm square holes. A, C, D and E.

The fifth hole (B)?? Since it is centered and the wire basically goes into the shank that goes into the drill chuck.. Where does the insulation exit the tool when it gets striped? Or does it need to be striped before inserting it into the tool??

That's waste.. Adds up to a good sized Christmas bonus when it's hauled into the scrap yard at the end of the year.. 😉

Having worked as an electricians helper, in my younger days,; Saving those one and two foor pieces would be a waste of time, I can think of very few times we ever needed a one or two foot piece of wire, when wiring a house,

Really??

Tell me. How do they get 10 ga wire into a 2.5 mm square hole when 10 ga wire measures 2.5882 mm WITHOUT insulation??

Here is a different model. I have no clue what my electrician friends use. I'll ask next time I see them.
