Eagle Hitch Parts... Do I need something for mine?

Attached are a few pictures of my Eagle Hitch.

It seems to me that I am missing something, (unless there is more than one design for the Eagle Hitch)

What I am referring to is the very end of the lower arms.
All the pictures of Eagle Hitches I have seen on line seem to show a "J-Hook" piece the hooks on the to implement being attached.
My tractor appears that is does not have all the necessary parts to the Eagle Hitch.

If anyone out there could tell me what, IF ANY, parts I am missing I would be very grateful.
Also, if I am missing parts and you have what I need for sale, please let me know that as well.
Or where I can get the needed parts.

Thanks in advance

John Salie might be of assistance here. Looks like the steps and the spring clips I see missing

A nice close up side view of the arm ends would help but, I could be entirely wrong, but it looks like someone tried to make a quick hitch locking arrangement, I have never seen a stock eagle hitch setup like that, the stock setup has a sliding piece for the pins to ride in and when that is pulled back a rotating lock goes down in front. I could be totally wrong, but I believe John Saeli may have kits and if not, he can supply all the loose parts to rebuild it if you choose to go that route. I have got loose EH latch parts from him in the past.

I agree with Mel, it looks like you are missing the original latching assemblies that lock the pins of the mounted implement in place. A close up of the end of the Eagle Hitch arms would help diagnose what is missing for certain.

Here is the entire Eagle Hitch set up on my 1952 DC. Not counting the 2 clips, there are 4 pieces, J-hook, lock, spring, and pin. You need a set for each side. Photo 1 is open, photo 2 is locked. I hope it helps. Also, the locks are side specific. Case part # 6169A is Left, 6168A is Right side.

Nice Pic. Just what he needed. .Thanks DC, I think that setup mimics some Quick Attach mechanisms I have seen that mount on the ball style arms to make them QA. It would not be bad if the pin size matched that big opening. It would not really be that bad a set up, The V series had a similar latch setup.
