Farmall 560 Teledepth creeping

I have a Farmall 560 that when I raise and lower the fast hitch it won’t stay in one spot it creeps up and down after I stop it where I want it

The depth is controlled by a complex system of linkages running from the hydraulic cylinder, around the platform, and up to the control valve. Plus there's a complicated mechanism inside the control valve itself. No parts available for any of it.

Easiest solution is to connect the hydraulic cylinder to one of the other remotes, and control the hitch manually as was done on all models previous to the 560. Next easiest solution is to replace the teladepth control valve with a normal hydraulic remote valve for a 560 to get rid of the complicated, worn, and malfunctioning teladepth setup.

How do you connect it to the other remotes and bypass it ? I’m concerned about it still working the hydraulic pump. Also if I replace it with a double acting valve like the others will the control handle work like the others ?

You connect it with hoses like any other cylinder. It's just a normal cylinder.

Loop the hoses from the teladepth valve together and disconnect the linkage at the valve body. With no load it should find a happy medium and stop but even if it flows a little bit it's not going to "work the hydraulic pump."

The lever will work like the others if you replace the valve.

Ok so I bypassed the tele depth by connecting the 2 back connections and it still sounds like it’s trying to pump through it. Can I take the internal plunger out and keep the bypass will it help ?
