Farmall F12 auxiliary transmission

Was able to go get the F12 with the road gear today. Cleaned up the housing and did not see any markings. It is a 2:1 overdrive that will work in all gears. Extra hole put in the transmission cover for the shifter So that the linkage is all enclosed. Tractor is mostly complete but stuck. I got some better pictures this time, thanks, Mike

Interesting. Looks like the added shifter was designed to fit a boot over it. Since there is none, I would guess the transmission is full of water. Hope for the best on condition.

Hello Jim, yes I would guess it should have had a boot over it. Pretty dry here in eastern Washington looking through the rear of the tub it just looks oily. Parked under pine trees for a couple decades probably helped shed the water also. Was converted to rubber tires and has most of the F14 updates so it was probably some ones pride and joy at one time.
