Farmall High Crop Super A

Been working on getting a High Crop Super A mechanically restored and running good so it can be painted in the near future. It currently has a set of cultivator plow lifts on the front, but nothing on the rear for the sweeps to attach to except the rear hydraulic lift behind the seat. My question is, does anyone have a picture of what the correct front and rear cultivator assemblies are supposed to be on these one row High Crop tractors ? Currently the square bars where the front plows attach that are on it are like what I've seen common on the 100 & 130 models where they have a immediate inward then outward slope / bend in them, plus they have been hacked off with a torch to shorten them up to keep from hitting the back tires. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is the only Farmall High crop tractor to be in my area in my lifetime, so kinda limited on comparisons.

The main differences between the A-144 cultivators for the Super A and the AV-144 for the Super AV deal with the height difference. The square bars for attaching the front universal mounting frames each have a double bend that lowers the working end of the mounting frames. The front tool bars are AV specific, probably for tire clearance. It seems likely that you have a pair of modified front tool bars for the Super A 6-tooth front. The rear section bearings (that bolt to the drawbar location on the final drives) have a larger drop that brings the rear tool bars down to a working height. The rear pressure rods are longer to match this added drop. There are some more details that differ.

Thank you. I know the drop down brackets are for sure missing to attach the rear plow toolbars to the final drives. The owner has a good parts selection to choose from for everything else to enable putting a set of rear cultivators together.

Thank you. The cultivators that are on this high crop do have the drop down mounting bars like you have pictured to attach them into the front bolster. The rest of the assembly looks nothing like a regular Super A either, which should be correct for a high crop.

I would suggest looking here the archive , I’m only fimilarcwith c244+254+ . You mentioned cut torch square frame , sound like an adaptation of another model maybe .
Thank you 560. I will read through this.
