The 95 came out of retirement for Soybean harvest in West Central Missouri. White 8900 machine had a major injection pump o ring leaking pretty good Thurs night, more inspection Sat morning, it was too bad to head to the field.
This morning, we get this around, had been 12 years since it cut beans.
Dry here. Hope everyone is having a safe harvest. GG Wes

Those look really good. BPA? You all must have sucked all our rain up there.
Thanks for the reply. No these are deceiving. We've been dry since July 5, only two measurable rains, one was two weeks ago, too late for these beans. Corn did fare well here, this field might stretch to 29 bu. Acre.?
Machine ran well, one head auger finger bushing went out, so that was noisy till dark.
Found the bag of parts last night at 830. Fixed this morning.

Nice to see a 5 series still at work. Some day I'd hope to own one. Although I think trying to combine 13% beans wouldn't be any fun. In the last 10 to 15 years or so, combining beans at 13% can be a real SOB. Most varieties don't combine nice until after a hard frost or they're down to 8-10%. Even later model walker combines still have a tough time. Heck we had a couple of rotor combines plug up this year too.

Same here with the white 8900 we have, plugged twice earlier, but now it's been good sailing til now, developed a radiator leak on the outside GG
