Ford 2000 carb part needed MS TSX765

I am looking for a power adjusting needle (type B) for a MS TSX 765 carb. I realize I can purchase a comprehensive carb
rebuild kit and the needle is included; I have already purchased one from this site and somehow I managed to bend the
needle and it snapped while straightening it. I am just trying to avoid spending another $50 dollars on a $5 part when
the power needle is all I need. I have searched the web and can only locate the kits. Any suggestions? If you happen to
have an extra I would be interested in it. Thank you in advance for any guidance you can provide.

What about re-using the original one that you were replacing?

it snapped in half when I tried to straighten it - just thought I might get a lead on a replacement without buying the
whole kit...again.

No, I meant the original one that was in the carb before you started. Or did you bend that one and break it as well as the one that was in the kit that you bought?

the tip was broken off in the bottom of the bowl fitting, hence, it was no longer the proper length/diameter.

You might look for a used carb on ebay that has a usable needle.
