Hello everyone. I have a generator on my 2N where the pulley is not spinning freely. I can turn it by hand and then it gets pretty stuck resulting in the belt just burning up when it’s running. I see that there is a bearing behind and pulley and I assume that is what needs to be replaced at this time. I’m just wondering how do I get access to that bearing?

I've nursed periodically noisy generator bearings with an oil can over the years.
My '51 Chev 6 generator has a flip-top oil point at the rear bushing but you can also get a rotating generator to pull a few drops in from the front to the bearing. When I need a super light oil, that also dissolves rust instantly, I use Amsoil MP. It never oxidizes over time becoming gummy either.
