Ford 555a

I am looking for help finding a hardline for a 555a backhoe. I need the line that runs from under the valve body on the backhoe to the back of the valve body. It goes to hose when going into the tractor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When I had this issue on a Minnie Moline I just changed it to hose and didn't have any problem with it.

Yeah I have been to over 10 shops trying to get someone who can even make the hose. I've got someone without right now making me a fix but I'd still like a hardliners eventually.

Try searching the parts diagrams, link below, and identify the New Holland part number. It will be Discontinued at CNH but try searching for the part number on the Internet or Ebay. Let us know what part number you find so we know what you're looking for. Also on the parts list click on the part number, you can find a list of other models that the part was used on. This info might be useful while searching.

That's a toughie. I think you'll have to start trying salvage yards that specialize in Ford and ship. Fortunately that assembly was used on a number of models. Others who read this board know some of the good places.

Yeah I'm in NC if I could just get a head way I'd start diving.

Cut the end off the tube and braze on a common JIC fitting and make the replacement hose fit that.

That's what the shop is doing for me now. Just would like to go back steel in the future.

Is this half hose - half steel like the pressure line on the pump?

No it's all steel

There are custom shops that build new ones around the country
Pricey but an option
