Hello all
First time on the Ford forum.Been on the Massey ferguson forum for years now.

Looking for information on a old Ford model 903 post hole digger craigslist find. I would like to use this on my old MF202
I can't seem to find any info on this digger all I can find is the gear box has a 2-9/16" output shaft.
I'm trying to find out what was the largest size auger bit this digger could run and if auger bits
are still available in this size and would fit.and what the gear ratio of the gear box might be maybe some where in the neighborhood of 4.0to1 ?
Anyone familiar with this Post hole digger?
Thank you to all

My uncle had a 903 digger and we had an older (1952) Danuser. The best I remember everything that would fit the Danuser would fit the Ford. If I am correct, then you should not have any problem finding different size augers for them. I was just as happy using the Ford as I was the Danuser. Now I use a hydraulic digger on a bobcat and love it.

Ive got an old red Ford 903 digger. Theyre very good old heavy duty digger in my opinion. Im not sure of exact ratio, I would say that they are around 3 or 4 :1 most diggers are I believe. The biggest auger listed in parts manual is 24. If you look online I believe you can find parts and operators manuals in pdf format.
