Ford F150 price and deals

Hello guys. Been thinking about a new Ford F150 lightning since they came out. After buying Toyota and Subaru vehicles for years I've figured out about what the price they will come down from sticker is if you haggle for a while and about how much more they will come down even further for end of year or quarter etc.

Have no idea what it is for a Ford pickup or other brand be it gas, hybrid, or EV. We are coming up on the end of year inventory reduction sales. Seems like in the past I've seen sales that mention 12,000, more or less, off sticker.

Just wondering what everyone else's experience is since most of you probably buy a new one every year? You probably know what the average markdown is and what the motivated seller markdown is. Anymore all the haggling is done through internet shopping multiple dealers after deciding how I want it equipped. I drove 500 miles to Denver to save 800 bux on our last Subaru Forester and they were going to deliver it if I wanted. Dallas, St. Louis, and others are in my range. That could turn into a 2 day return trip in an EV unless that price is just ridiculous and I opt for gas. Thanks.

Lots of people go shopping at year end so dealers have little incentive to deal. Nobody shops between Christmas and New Years so they are willing to deal

Now in my 70th year, I have purchased three brand new vehicles in my life. The most recent being a Silverado in November. It was $3000 off list. It was a 2024, not a left over 2023. It was shortly after that they realized inventory was outpacing sales, and the real incentives started showing up. I have no idea where they're at now.
A good friend's son in law, like you, has been intrigued by the Lightning ever since its introduction. He got one last year. It has made travelling challenging and difficult. He has left it with his father in law and taken his father in laws' rusting Silverado to go any distance, particularly carrying or towing anything.
I can see a small electric vehicle for local commuting. But I don't understand an electric truck, especially for someone like yourself who likes to travel distances?

When we got our new car in December we got over $5,000 in rebates, incentives and discounts. In addition we got an additional $4,000 for our trade where we bought over what the first dealer was allowing.
