I had to remove the top lid in order to replace the leather and rubber rings on the hydraulic piston, anyway was planning on replacing the o rings on the auxiliary plate but there aren’t any nor a gasket just metal to metal, is this right? Is it because it’s never been replaced before?
Appreciate any advice
Thanks Rick

I had to find a newer auxiliary plate to get O-rings to fit
Don't remember where I bought a used auxiliary plate. It was blue so it came off a newer Ford.
This was a long time ago and my memory is a little foggy.
I think a guy off the Ford site helped me.

I don’t want to replace it, my concern is I thought there were supposed to be o rings underneath to replace, since it doesn’t have this nothing to worry about?

This is what I have

Can't mention web site or post a link but search web for RemHydrMod2.pdf and download. They are showing O rings.

Hard to see a flat (not compression type) metal to metal connection of 1000, 1500, maybe 2500psi holding with no leaks
