Curious if anyone has had similar issue?
I have an 8670 and everything worked fine while plowing 50 acre field. Couple days later decided to pull and clean both exterior and interior air filters, blew out dust and reinstalled same filters; didn't even crank the engine. I always keep a battery maintainer attached to battery while sitting
About two weeks later started tractor and got multiple lights and fault codes displaying. Air filter lamp (amber) filters lamp (red flashing) code F300 (Trans solenoid #1 short, F305 (Trans solenoid C short) F306 Trans solenoid F1 short, F391 (Hydraulic filter status), F392 (Trans filter status), F417 El(Engine Air filter status) and finally, F419 (Alternator not charging).
Most importantly the transmission will not engage in either forward or reverse.
I found it unusual that all these became problematic simultaneously, and am assuming the likelihood that one problem ie. Bad alternator output would invoke the other faults. Trying to employ the old adage, when hearing the sound of hoofbeats think horse NOT zebra, but before jumping into this would appreciated any first-hand knowledge dealing with similar issue. Thanks for any help
