Had to rearrange my toy box

Finished up covering a field with manure and got it all worked under. Next job was to find my corn planter. It wasn’t that I didn’t know where it was, it is just that it’s always stored at the very back of the shed. With any luck , some patience and perseverance, I will be able to make my IH Cyclo 800 plant a little corn for silage to feed my beef cows. Considering I have the planter, and harvester and wagons all just stored away . And no need to by fertilizer because I had plenty of manure, my only real out of pocket expense is the seed corn and the spraying. Naturally the fuel and time, but hey, hobbies cost money. So while I had some of my once important, now not so necessary toys out of the toy box, I took a picture. If this was 1968, you would say I was well equipped with modern machinery. I still think they look pretty decent, even though most farmers wouldn’t give them shed space.

I’ll be ready….if I am still here, I have a 930 and 1030 also. So when the computer chip control tractors grind to a halt. My low compression, indirect injection mechanical tractors will be ready to roll, if I can get some diesel fuel

I give a 1957 Case 311RN shed space! When I get the VAS restored it will get shed space too!

Nice! I like Cases. I thought you were hiring your corn planted. Did that not work out for you?

For me all my toys are old. Planter is newest. Some years takes a half a day to move everything to get what I need out.

Nothing wrong with old stuff. My mowing JD 401 B is around 45 years old. When I was doing disking for others, My AC Model M crawler was built in the late 30's. It's still running, I just use around the place. Stan
