Drove the old girl into a tight/muddy spot.. The 2 most beautiful sounds in the world- 1, Diesel Running..2, Diesel shutting off..so shut it off to rake gravel for next bucket full.. Then tractor won’t start.. No starter like one of the safety’s is holding it out.. Tight muddy spot, no room to do anything.. Really need to get it running to get it to the garage.. Hate disturbing wires for no reason on a 20 year old tractor.. Sooooo to get her to get her to the garage, these 2 pics.. pic 1, Is that the wire bundle from the transmission safeties? If so pic 2- Red arrow to side 1 of the plug, several wires going in.. Side 2 of the plug, 2 wires coming out.. To get her to start and back on dry ground.garage to work on it/proper fix, can anyone tell me for sure if I separate that plug go to side marked 2 and put a jumper across those 2 wires if that should get her to start????

That looks like nothing but a PTO speed sensor. Jumping those wires will get you nowhere.

Any helpful hints where I might look for the wire bundle/connector I seek ?

It might be fastest to tow the tractor backwards a few feet until you can get to the side
