Hometown Jamboree starts tomorrow

There are a couple of rain showers around so I went ahead and loaded. I'm taking Ole Bullet, my late son's tractor. 1958 MF 65 with a 1947 Harry Ferguson AO 14 x2 plow. My load inspector is curled up on my TV chair after having her lunch. She'll want out later and will inspect everything. DCARP, I hope it doesn't turn into a river parade.

There was a water stop and they changed crews there too. Had cattle loading pens and a large cotton dock. I'm old enough to remember steam locomotives coming thru.

I heard the town north of you was named Hooterville. At the town picnic one very hot summer one year they got a good look at all the people in town. Then they changed the name to Flatonia.

Well the forecast is 60% chance of rain for Sat. & Sun. Had about 1 inch today.
