How many folks are "loving" this new site update?

Same people complaining about the new site also do no understand why anyone would want spin on oil filters, 12 volt system and electronic ignition. "Your living in the past man"

One thing I will miss is the post count and label. Instead of tractor expert-guru etc etc and the 10’s of thousands of posts

Edit: ok, by clicking/tapping a members name, you can see how many posts they’ve made. Maybe it’s something only I looked at..

As you found the post count is there.

The labels were/are post count driven so the labels changed with the new software. I think the new labels are better, just because I made a certain number of posts didn't mean I was a guru.

If they improved the search funct, that will be a plus.
I do like being able to "like" a post or reply.

I can't help but notice the entirely new look and feel of this forum this week. I don't even see a choice for "Classic View" anywhere. I put together a poll for everyone to express their likes and/or dislikes. Please feel free to add comments as well as to cast your votes.

I think that the forum software version that they were using was no longer going to be supported by the software vendor, so they had to upgrade to a new version in order to stay supported.

I liked the old ay better. From what I see, you pick a subject that says today, then the next can be two days ago then, the next one 1 day ago then back to today. At least the other one stayed in order

That is very true. The labels were different than what I’ve seen on other forum sights, maybe that’s what I liked about em.

Now, if it’s a self claimed guru..that’s a different story!!

I like the new updates, especially the ability to edit my posts.

The old forum is like a flip phone.
The new forum is like a smartphone.
Once you figure it out, you will not go back to a flip phone.

Am I loving it? Well yes more and more as using it becomes more normal. Kinda like when they move stuff it the stores. Yes it take a while but we all get used to it and sometimes like it even better.

I like how fast it loads pictures. I like how it shows the latest posts. I was on classic view mostly myself I do think that some of the lesser visited forums will get even less traffic crawlers and such. I do kind of miss sorting it right off the bat and heading for the green section at least on the mobile phone I have to go back and hit forums to find the list but I think people will get answers to their questions a lot faster this way as what’s being asked today is what’s on deck first. I feel like for good or bad it will make longer threads. Overall I think it’s a positive change vs it going away and it has the potential to help people as much as we all can. I’ve used this for years before signing up and it has helped me out of more than one situation.
