IH 300/350 Utility Tach cable and gear drive

Have a IH350 Utility that the Tachometer does not work. Found that the tach cable will not rotate due to damage. This then took out the plastic drive gear.
Looking at the parts on this site for the tach drive gear and tach drive gear housing there appears to be some newer parts that supersede older parts.
Want to order correct parts.
Check Messicks website for part numbers but could find them. Are the tachometer drive parts the same for all distributors or do they change depending on which distributor you have?
What’s the correct p/n?

369694R91 was the improved parts, with housing cable attaches to and gear. Metal shaft instead of plastic. If you have gear housing with notches, it's the old type. New type is smooth on flange and doesn't need turned to set gear teeth depth. If not found try 369692R1 housing. Gear and shaft 369695R1. Retainer 369693R1. Gasket 363814R2. Don't know if any aftermarket furnishes them. Unless things changed case IH wanted over 200 dollars 15 years or more ago. Edit, J you posted while I was working on this one. Think you posted second design and I the third. Cam standard on 504 tractors and other later models.

Don't remember where my information came from. Posted info from my notebook. From memory the first change was a different treatment of metal and smoother finish of die cast housing and .002 more clearance for shaft. Last housing change added a metal piece that mounted in grove of shaft to keep gear from going to deep in drive gear. Shaft was metal covered. Posting picture of housings and shaft. Top picture is last design. Previous design parts were supposed to be no longer furnished after new was available.

My drive looks like the bottom one. I have replaced the drive shaft cable and greased the housing with ford graphite grease until it came out the other end, then inserted the drive cable pushing out excess. still going! Jim

Found more info. Parts pictured at top started on F-350 serial 14363, I-350 15137, F-450 22144, F-450D 22156, I-330 1628, I-450 1669, I 450D 1668. Also found a place called precision tractor parts is selling the parts for around $111.
