IH Fast Hitch Plow and Disc ID

Picked up a two bottom fast hitch and fast hitch disc for my Farmall 350 today. Wasn’t sure at first they were for a Super C, but looking closer to the vague for sale pics, they were not.

Pretty sure the plow is a 34-F20A. The disc, not sure. Width is 8ft-6ish inches, disc spacing is 7 inches. Front and rear disc diameters are 17ish inches, with one front gang notch discs and measures around 16ish inches. Who knows what was changed over the years. Owner at one time had a IH 350 Utility, so these would have surely been used with it. Plow bottoms and parts look to me rough. Ends of both moldboards look to be cut off - never seen that before. No gage wheel, but a bracket for it on the plow. While looking for it, the seller found a middle buster/plow and I bought it too - though not a fast hitch implement. Pretty much bought for scrap steel prices, looked like they had been setting for years.

How does the spring work on the plow? Lets the plow break and pivot up if an obstacle is hit or holds a decent and the plow bottoms detach?

Can anyone ID both the plow and disc? What is the parts availability for each? Any sage recommendations for parts, repair, use, etc., are much appreciated. Lots of pics - no particular order. Will repliy with more pics - limit is 10 pics…

Both pieces look like they are for a Super C. Not sure about the disk, but the plow looks like a 2C-F20. Which could make the disk a C-36.

Mike, your "look like this?" is a C20 plow. Bill VA's plow is different, with the spring underneath the frame. Bill's plow doesn't flip up or detach or anything. The spring just lets your ribs get reeeeal close to the steering wheel if you should hit a deadman at speed. Stops you fast. Done several times in my youth with a Super C and C20 plow. I have seen a few plows like Bill's but can't remember the model.

Ok, it looks like the plow is a 34-F20. At least according to Mecum.

And this 34U-F36 disk was in Tractor Shed.

I know a couple of guys that deal in NOS and used IH Plow parts and I would have some IH fast hitch disk parts, there is no one making the bearing or or the bearing holders for the 7/8 inch arbor bolts and new blades are hard to find also. Really the only way to obtain parts is to buy a fast hitch parts disk for bearings and bearing holders, you can get blades for the older drag disk like a IH 9A but the bearing holder mount different on the drag disk. I have 3 small point fast hitch disk for the SC, 200,230 and a large point 10 foot model that was on a 560 and I want to use on a IH 45o tractor. You can contact me at 320-468-6474, Kevin
