Will a IH tractor model 460 hydraulics lift a IH corn picker model 234 ?

i do not see any reason why it would not. the 460 has a better hydraulic system than the old M' s

One reason may be that the hydraulic system is horribly worn out, may not be to likely. A good later model M belly pump would put out 900psi, a 460 should be 1500psi.

Should lift it but will the axles carry it ?

IIRC there were two different axle sizes for it. the heavier one because the skinny ones broke. Jim
