Is it one tool or two?

I bought a used but clean pair of 50' 1/0 welding leads yesterday. One has a good rod holder on it. Does that make it three tools?
Lets me reach about 65' out of my garage now.
Gonna give them a test later this morning and weld a bracket onto the trailer tongue for a new jack.

Don't know if it's 1, 2 or 3 but I do the same. 50 ft of cable to get outside. My welder is in basement garage. Don't want the fumes in the house. I don't have 240 in the detached garage, yet. Think mine are 2/0. Was making a delivery to a steel mill and they were pitching a spool into a rolloff box. I snagged it before they did. Might have to up the amperage one notch depending on the rod you use, but you probably already knew that. Need to put a new jack on one of my trailers too.

You get all the deals! Ron MN

I did the opposite. I have a 50' extension cord with a 50A/250V plug and connector to get the 240V where I need it. It's a LOT easier to adjust the welder as necessary without having to walk 100 feet every time.

I have 50ft leads on mine. It sits right beside the basement door so I can reach out pretty good. A long extension cord wouldn't work for this old Lincoln industrial. It took 3 of us just to get it into the basement and it's on wheels.

That reminds me that I have 2 old coils of welding lead that needs a new home. I have been trying to downsize everything . So to make it easier for the wife when I go. joe

Tell us where your at and I’m sure someone would want to take them off your hands
I’d love to have longer leads than the 10 footers mine has

I probably have close to 200 feet of 1/0 welding leads. I know this stuff is expensive new but I never use it. Don't seem to be much demand for it around here. I have thought of cutting it up into 20 or 25 foot chunks and trying to sell it for booster cable material. Any idea how much it is worth for that? I may just cut it up and burn the rubber off and then sell the copper for junk. Hate to do that but I'm tired of dragging it around.
