Is this a 1953 Ford Jubilee?

Good morning,

We just purchases 5 flat acres and are now in need of a tractor. This is a whole new world for us
We came across one on Facebook marketplace claiming he is selling it for his girlfriend's grandpa who was the only owner. Sounds a bit fishy?
Also, the paint job is wonky. I don't know why they would paint the inside parts blue? Or was it never red and not actually a jubilee?

It looks like a Jubilee ('53) or a NAA ('54). They left the factory red except for sheet metal. That was 70 or 71 years ago and it was painted blue during that time. Many people repainted them when Ford switched to blue in '63. I look at the person's status on Facebook to see how long they've been on there and only contact through messenger at first. The scammers will usually have very short account histories.

The hood medallion says Golden Jubilee as close as I can tell.
There are better ways to determine if 1953 model.

If the rear axel has a circular clip pin holding the axle bolt on, it’s a Jubilee or NAA (same tractor). The photo appears to show such a clip.

Thanks for the info! I will check their page. That'd mean his girlfriend's grandpa is almost 100 at best though
