John deere 4430 injector repair

Hi everybody I bought a john deere 4430 with a blown engine. I took the engine out of my grandpa's junked 7700 turbo combine harvester, and put it into the tractor. Engine runs smooth, has power, and doesn't start to bad. But it smokes and wet stacks on the exhaust so I am going to replace the fuel injectors. Are the fuel injectors different on a 7700 turbo combine engine compared to a 4430 tractor? The pump is probably set different but don't know if it matters for injectors.

You might have several things going on besides the injection nozzles. Make sure the fuel system is perfectly clean. Might be a worn engine, sleeves, oil rings, etc. Injection pump issue if its been sitting. Injection nozzles maybe. I would make sure the fuel is fresh and the filters are changed and run it a while before pouring money into parts.

Drain tractor fuel tank. Fresh fuel. Pull tractor on a dyno or go to the field and pull it hard, getting coolant temp to 200 plus degrees. Then see what happens?
