Hello everyone, I just recently bought a mid 80s John Deere 650. It came with a brush hog and tiller attachment, a long with a front loader.
It's a nice running little tractor, but I'm having a hydraulic pressure issue. From what I understand, which is very little haha, when I have the front loader bucket vertical, I should be able to push the bucket down and raise the front of the tractor. We noticed when loading the tiller attachment, it was unable to lift the tiller more than a few feet off the ground.
The hydraulic response is very quick, there doesn't seem to be any major leaks, and the hydraulic fluid is full.
Also, the hydraulic adjustment dial, which sits under the seat, is fully open.
Is there another valve somewhere? Is it possible there's a clog somewhere in a line? I don't want to start randomly placing parts.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
