Length of Tach/Proof Meter cable for Jubilee/NAA

Im repainting and repairing lots of neglected items on an NAA. I've tried to install a tach/proof cable that is described by supplier as a fit for 1953-1964. Its to long for the Jubilee/NAA's. This is understandable because the Jubilee/ NAA hood sits lower than an 800/801, 900/901 including the early 2000 and 4000 from the 1962-164 era. Ive looked high and low at suppliers including Carpenter and the Yesterdays tractor store and they all list 1953-1964 as using the same cable. Has anyone had any experience or have any insight to a solution or source for the correct cable. I like doing a nice neat job on my projects and would like to find the correct length. The one everyone sells is 30 inches. Jubilee/NAA needs about 2 inches shorter. Thanks so much for reading my post. Any help would be appreciated. Mark

Apparently there was a cable assembly for the NAA prior to the one listed for '53 forward. It's part number is FAD-17365-A instead of B9NN-17365-B. Go to Ebay and search for item 293737936754 to take a look. Carefully read parts diagram item 5. The used one on Ebay doesn't give a length, you would have to ask.

Sorry for the delayed response. Had a couple thing come up delaying me in getting back on the Forum. Thanks much for your help Sean, Andy and Pomester. I'll look into all of your suggestions. Your input is helpful. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. Andy thanks for getting me the parts number from your parts book. Mark
