Looking at a Massey 451.

Local Deere dealer has a Massey 451 they just took in on trade.
2 wheel drive no FEL 1900 hours been kept inside all its life. I am going to see if the salesman will give me the previous owners contact information.
Looks good appears to have been well maintained. They are asking 9000.
I am needing a close to the ground tractor to put a 6 or 7 foot rotary cutter on to clean up under and around trees on my 55 acres. Have a cabbed John Deere with a 10’ cutter on it (keeping it for the open areas) but need something smaller to get in and mow in tight places and around the trees.
I am reading mixed reviews on the 451 Massey tractors. Few threads on here about them I know they were made in Brazil.
Anyone had experience with one?
Thanks in advance.

I just bought a 2002 MF450 W/ 502 hrs. + front loader and forks, quick attach. $14,000 cash. First owner bought it to take care of his 3A place. The tractor mechanic I took my MF 135 to for head gasket replacement had it there for sale.
ALL equipment years have their particular issues. The only issue with the MF 451 made in Brazil 2002-2006 seem to have is incomplete cleaning of castings, causing sand to stop up the hyd oil screen. MF switched to a spin-on hyd oil filter to solve this problem.
The rear wheel outside narrowest width is 6', that means my 5' bush-hog only cuts inside rear wheel spacing. The 52HP Perkins diesel will handle your 10' cutter.
This review appears to be impartial, and does not identify any serious problems. https://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/threads/mf-451-owners-any-problems-gripes.122712/

Addendum to my previous post. Speaking with my MF mechanics, the sand in the hyd oil screen is not valid. Both said they've never heard that complaint or found any sand in any MF tractor. When I asked about replacement parts, one said they've never had a problem getting parts.
