Low oil pressure

first time being on this forum so hello from Skandia mi.
I have picked up a 1955 Oliver super 55 she’s pretty rough but will do what I need it for. Got it running the other day. recored the radiator put new carb on it steering gear replaced plugs, wires, coil cap rotor . Fired it up runs good everything works but it holds 15 lbs of oil pressure cold didn’t change when warmed up new oil. Has the cast iron filter housing. I figure the engines bearings are not that great. Question is I need the thing to run will it last at that pressure. I’m not working it hard getting firewood out of the woods behind my house with a set of homemade 3 point forks and just filling the box I got with split wood . I just don’t want to dump a crap load of cash into this thing I already did. If I have to slide a set of bearings into it I would but don’t want to. Please any insight into these I would appreciate. Thanks

I also tried two different gauges one out of my old truck that I know worked great all of them read about the same give or take a few psi

I'm amazed it has that much. The original gauge didn't even show PSI, just low and normal. Normal wasn't much.
The original gauge I couldn’t see or read it’s so condensated and rusty I put a couple of them cheap gauges that come in the 3 pack. I appreciate the quick response

I read somewhere that the original design oil pressure was 15 psi.
It just seemed low to me but everyone I ask says that’s fine so I’m going to run it. I appreciate all the insight. Used to 60 psi in my truck. My kenworth got 40 to 50 just seemed low to me but I guess it’s not a race engine or even high speed so off to work she goes

The oil pump only feeds the mains anyway on early Oliver engines, the rods are not pressure fed but lubed by the grace of God splash system.
