Massey 165 steering shaft

Hello everyone. The Massey 165 gasser I recently purchased seems to have a bent steering shaft. You can see the visible bend as the shaft comes out past the instrument panel. What is the process of removing and replacing the steering shaft?

You seem to have a number of things you are going to need to repair on your 165s. The very first things you need to get is the actual Massey Ferguson 165 Service Manual, MF #1448814, the Operator's manual, MF # 1448078 for the Perkins engine tractors and th Operator's Manual #690679 for the Continental engine tractor, Those numbers may have a M suffix number after them which can vary. It is much easier to help you work through things if you are working from the manuals to start with.
