Massey Ferguson 1130 serial number

Hello does someone know what the last serial number on 1130 and also 1135 was. I know of an 1135 with a 9B74000 serial number and have never seen one later. Also an 1130 with 9B36000. These both are very late models but how close to the last ones built are they is my question if someone knows. Thanks!

Hello Mark, welcome to YT! According to Tractordata 1972 the last year of production of the MF1130 started with SN 9B31959. The tractor with SN 9B36000 would probably have been produced quite close to the end of production for that model. That is based loosely on the given number gaps shown for production of previous years. MF1130 on TD

For the MF1135 model, the last year of production was 1979 and started with SN 9B76058, so the number you have given is not very close to the last one produced.

Thanks .Yes I saw that on tractor data but I think the last year of production was 1978 for 1135 so I would question the accuracy of tractor data but I could be wrong .Thanks for the info though. My father worked at Massey dealer when these were new so been around them all my life

If you question the accuracy of the info on Tractordata you can email him through the “contact” info given on pages there. Peter occasionally posts on this forum. He has been known to chime in and defend the accuracy of his info there. He claims it all comes from manufacture’s literature or other information.

The 1100/1130/1150 and 1080 models all ended in 1972 per the MF Legacy book I have. The 1972 model year started with 9B31958 and ended with 9B36840. The 1085/1105/1135/1155 started in 1973 with 9B36841 and ended in 1978 with 9B76058. I have the yearly lists if you want them.
