I bought an MF135 from a gentleman here recently. He'd gone through in the last 6 months and replaced the worn brake shoes with new ones (drum brakes).
After having the tractor out a bit, I noticed that when I apply the brake (specifically the left brake), I'll get a clunk sound and the brake will fully apply, locking the tire until the pedal is released. If applying the brake when the tractor is stationary, there will be no clunk.
I plan to remove the tire here soon...other than oily brake shoes, what should I be looking for? Oily shoes are one thing, but I'm thinking this clunking noise is probably indicative of something else.
