Minneapolis Moline M670 Super Gas Power Steering Problem

I just bought this M670 Super with a loader and after using it a couple of times, the steering went out. The steering wheel turned super easy and wheels barely turned. I checked the fluid level and added fluid (PS) then the steering wheel turned so hard and moved the wheels a little more than before. Had some oil drip from the dash. Any ideas of what could be the problem? Thanks

There is a hydraulic motor in steering column. It is supplied through valves from pump. Could be air but odds are motor not getting oil or motor bad.

Make sure your spindles on the front axle are free and not binding as well. Also check the thrust bearings on them. I had an M5 that they said the power steering quit and it was the thrust bearings completely gone and what was left stuck up next to the spindle.

Will do. Thanks

Jack up front end, do as Alan said grab each wheel and see if it is free in the spindles. While jacked up and motor running see if you can turn the steering wheel. If so, turn in both directions and hold against the stop momentarily to bleed system.

Will do. Thanks I was wondering how to bleed the system.

I got it fixed, there was a crack in a line and rotted connector. Got a new hose and connectors and it worked good. Hope it stays that way. Thank you all for your help.
