Minnieapolis tractor what fuel to run it on

it’s a 1929 minnieapolis 27-42 it has a starting tank inside of the gas tank what fuel can I run in this will it run on diesel or kerosene or just gas gas would go in the starting tank but what goes in the main fuel tank and also I can’t find a manual for it I would prefer to run it on diesel if possible
Tractors that could run on "tractor fuel" had to be started on gas and when up to temperature switched to the tractor fuel. They had lower compression ratios and, even on gas, developed less hp. The operators manual for an Allis Chalmers WD states that the min. temp for tractor fuel is 190 deg. and running temps should be in the 190 to 200 deg range. Lesser temperatures would not vaporize the fuel good enough. The proper temps for gas operation was 170-190 deg.
