On the R and 185 Cid Z there is an oil tube that wraps around the block and oils the valves. Had 4 wicks in it and made of copper or appears to be. Of course, I have one that is messed up any one ever replace one? Anyone got one? Also appears to be flared on the bottom where it meets the crankcase. thanks

I should think you can fabricate one if necessary. I hope you have the one in the other block as an example. The ends of the tube are flared so they fit snug in the bores in the block. I would think that getting the nails in there where they line up with the rockers would be one of the biggest challenges. It might be easiest to cut the tubing extra long on both ends and get the spacing of the nails right before putting the bends in.

Might come down to that, most likely a used one would be ruined getting it out.

I might add, I've never had one with all the sponges, wicks, just make sure all the "nails" are oiling all the valves.

I have some bad blocks with good oil lines. I will sell you the whole thing. You can figure how to get it out.

Thanks but cost of shipping would kill me. I don't think it (oil line) would come out alive.
