Need Farmall 806 Fuel pressure Guage

Does anyone have or know where I can find a Fuel pressure guage for a Farmall 806. It goes up to 150 psi and is mounted under the steering wheel in the center of the steering column. It was an option on the 806 and mine had it but know I can"t seem to find one to replace my broken one. It has two bolts on the back to mount it to the bracket. Any help would be great.

It is a diesel and this is a factory guage. Have a picture or two of the tractor from when it was new and it can be seen in the pic. Will give a call this week ken, thanks. You don't have a pic of it you could post or e-mail. [email protected]

Most of the fuel pressure gauges I have seen were on 806's with the RD pump, although I believe they were optional on all 806 diesels.

I have one of the first ones in 1963 the 806 that is: serial #1302. Mine has the same broken fuel guage, what seems odd to me is that the line is connected to the backup fuel filter or the first one to get fuel gravity fed from the tank, the fuel doesn't get pressurized until it goes to the injector pump, so I can't imagine how much pressure you would see off of that fuel filter.

Can’t help with a source, but this gauge would have only been used on tractors with an RD pump. With those the fuel flows through one filter, the. To the charge pump, then the second filter, (this is where pressure is measured) then to the hydraulic head. With the roosamaster pump it is first filter, second filter, then to the injection pump, and the high pressure pump is charged internally.

oh interesting, my 806 has a roosamaster pump but the fuel guage is attached to the back of the fuel filter closest to the back of the engine. not sure which filter is #1 and which is #2. maybe mine was produced wiht the RD pump and then switched to the Roosamaster. Do you know if the first year of the 806 was made with which pump or was it random?

The online parts book shows 23978 and below as having the RD pump. Have I given you links to the parts books yet? If not I will put them up for you later.
Edit: I placed them in your post “…first start in years” reply 26. That is where I found the info I provided above.

IF you don't need an original type gauge. They Put them in Peterbilt's as an option in 2000. Mine with the Cat engine has one I had put in with the order for the truck. I would suppose most any pressure gauge of sufficient pressure range would work and what you want is a Dash mount or rear mount and feed gauge for in that plate like that. My RD pump has never had a gauge for it since I bought it in 1978 nor the 856 which has been in the family for 10 years or more now. I'm not sure just what you will accomplish with the gauge if you don't have an idea of what the pressure should be on the gauge.
