Been a while since I asked for help.
I have a 2017 NewHolland Boomer 50 tractor it is a diesel.
My little tractor has a frontend loader on it
I understand it uses hydraulic fluid for most everything except engine oil .
I have a small leak about 3 tablespoons of hydraulic fluid which is dripping from close to firer wall and dripping off the frontend loader frame. Fluid is not diesel gas and is very clear like hydraulic. This fluid is noticable after I run the tractor.
I took off the front cover and instrument covers to see if it was maybe the hydraulic steering. I felt all around the steering pump found it was all dry . Leak seems to be coming close to fire wall. I looked real careful found only dry hydraulic fittings and hoses.
I am 70 years young with fixed income and really need my little tractor.
Any suggestions .
Thank you guys for helping me.

Using rags first, then paper towels, clean every sign of oil off of the loader and tractor. Then hang a piece of news paper between the sheet metal and the loader. Using blue masking tape allows good stick and good removal. Run the tractor and exercise the loader. If there is no oil on the paper, and oil on the loader, the leak may be the loader. Many use the loader frame as a reservoir. If the frame leaks it can be fixed easily. If it gets on the paper from the engine side You are one step farther in identifying the leak. Jim

Leak on the left side. When you take the left side plastic cover off you see a rubber oval cover which I guess is used view.
The oil is coming from the top backside of firewall.
I did do a paper towel clean up to see if it would continue down the side and it does.
Don't think it is frontend loader.
Kind of you to help.

Post down in the new Holland forum as well. Is this open station? And to me the fire wall would be the underneath the hood behind the engine directly above the transmission bell housing on most tractors. Pictures would help also.

Backside I mean close to seat.
Think found the source of leak.
Bottom of image is a hard hydraulic line with oil on it.
The hydraulic fluid is traveling down the side of tractor firewall and ending under the bolt then dripping on the framework to the ground.
I will post my progress as I have to get to this source and figure out how to fix it.
Hopefully others will learn from my experience.

You might also want to check out the Tractorbynet website. That group tends to be more focused on the newer/smaller machines. Good luck.

Aerosol spray brake cleaner is you friend to help you pin point leaks, oil leaks in particular. It’s been helping mechanics since the late 70s or maybe even before that. It cleans and drys the area so you can see where the source of the leak is. Maybe this will be obvious where it is coming from. The brake clean is more helpful when an oring is leaking between two bolted parts etc.

Thanks you all.
Have all sorts of warnings lights but nothing warning of fluid low.
It's a very slow leak. Not engine oil because it is to clear for diesel (correct).
Thank you

If you are running off road Red dye diesel it should be distinguishable from hydraulic fluid, if regular diesel I have had trouble distinguishing between what was leaking.

Oh great.
We had a mechanic friend come over he does older cars and he's changed the oil on her tractor.
He smelled the fuel the fluid and he said that wasn't diesel fluid . I can smell it the diesel yeah we are running regular diesel not red eye.
I have a manual and the manual located the fuel pump in the fuel pump isn't leaking or the hoses going to it.
