Oil for vintage electric motors

I don't have proof other than using Supco zoom spout and/or 20w non detergent oil for years. Both work equally well. I use the 20w in circulator pump bearing assemblies without issue, and refilled the zoom spout with 20w. Supco works in motors with lubrication ports (something that is almost non existent now). As far as using something to ruin the motor, I have never felt the need to sabotage equipment, it can destroy itself quite fine without maintenance, which most no heat calls are generated from. You don't want a maintenance customer having no heat for a stupid reason like a fan motor failure that you maintained.

Wow, I have been adding a drop of Mobil 1 10W30 annually to the bearings in the draft inducer fan on my LP gas fired boiler for 25 years.
I used it because I know those little motors sometimes run pretty hot and Mobil 1 tolerates heat well.
I certainly hope I haven't shortened the life of those bearings!

I have a few motors with the little lidded oil cups over the bearings. Wondering what oil to use. Some of the stuff I have on hand: Compressor oil, air tool oil, Kroil, Fellowes performance oil (very thin) and some 3-1 type oil. Any of these acceptable?
3N1 Oil is good., Or any 20 Wt. is good. Hard to fin though. So many do not know but hydraulic Jack Oil is bountiful and is pure 20 Wt. Oil. I hav used it now like this for over 40 yrs. and no trouble.
