Old memory of an F-12

The Regular I sold was a 29. Had round spoke wheels 28 wheels on the back. Round spoke on front too if I remember correctly. Have to look for some pictures when I get time.

Well Daivd it still in my shed grey paint had faded, I gave it a quick touch up paint job two years ago and added the correct sickle bar mower for a Regular. She's a good runner, not sure I have a recent picture of it or not I will look.

(quoted from post at 13:10:06 01/12/23) I live right over the hill from Petrolia.

Pretty crazy, we're up on Hog Brook, can't miss the line of tractors. We're there on weekends, if the gates open stop on in. If the gate is open during the week it's a young man who cleans up my home improvement projects.

Down by the big rock in Petrolia if you take Niles Hill Rd up over the hill and down to Wellsville you will drive right by me on the way into town.

(quoted from post at 16:48:33 01/12/23) I will do that for sure! I know exactly where Hog Brook is. Property used to belong to a man named Slocum?

Yep that's it, bought it from the family. Daughter still lives across the road, a couple of the sons will stop by now and then.
As far as selling parts, I'm holding off for now until I get in there and have a chance to see what I've got. At least 2 of these old timers have been repowered, and there are three other 'regulars" in various states of disassembly. I'm a retired auto mechanic, and I'm looking forward to getting a couple of these moving under their own power.
Dave, we usually roll in there around noon Saturday and leave noon Monday, feel free to stop in

Pat, I know the place for sure. I used to go up there to get car parts from the guy back in the early 1970s. He had an F-12 with a cab and snow plow on
it that was repowered with a flathead Steduebaker 6 cylinder motor. Amoung many other neat things. He also had one of those rare Plymouth pickup
trucks that was from the late 30s. His woods were full of old cars, trucks, tractors, etc. He also was a reasonably popular and successful local stock car
dirt track racer. Great guy, he worked a regular job till in his early 80s! I'll stop in maybe Sunday. Already have plans to go over to Olean on Saturday
with the better half.

Yep, I can see that Howie was a local legend. I guess he died months after being forced to retire. Being a retired mechanic, the place felt like home. 30x30 pole barn. There is still an old 39? Dodge? on the property with the remnants of a nailhead Buick V-8. Hope you can stop by
