How hard is it to install the hydro power unit on a gas 1800 A that has no hydro power? Can I do this without lifting or removng the engine?

I want to run run a three point snow blower and I saw that with haydro power, I can lower my reverese speed from 1.8 to 1.4 mph.

I don't know if there's any difference in the A series or not, if not, shouldn't be any major project. You'll have to pull the engine, but that's not a big deal. Does yours have a steering shaft or hydrostatic steering? With a shaft, better check and see if the shaft will clear. I think there's likely a grove in the bell housing for it, not positive.
