Okay, is there a certain green for a 1964 Oliver 1650? Who has the paint? Here or All States Ag Parts?
???
For right now I'm going to paint the 3 side panels (6 altogether) and the hood. How much do I need, if by the quart or aerosol cans.

Still waiting on the decals. Had to Email. The Oliver decal website doesn't show the decals I want.

Finally found my paint gun, an EE Electro Airless paint gun. Haven't used it in years. Must have cleaned it good when I boxed it. Pulled it apart, checked everything, put back together and tested with water. Sprayed great for water. Has 2 adjustments on for paint - so will have adjust as needed.

Never painted a tractor or vehicle before. Can't even remember what used the spray gun for.

I can't tell you anything about that gun. Only used one like that on the house. Here's the paint codes if you need them.

I never had a airless paint gun but have heard that they don't do well with oil based paint, let us know how it turns out. The last tractor I painted, I got a cheap one from Harbor Freight ($15). I figured my time to clean it up was worth more than a new own, so I just threw it away.

Spoke to my brother. Said they work pretty good as long as they were cleaned well before any paint left over dried. Once dried might as well trash it.

I don't remember what type of paint it was that I painted the roof with - kind of thick. Painted the rust spot three times and rust still showed through. Was told the rust was just color and roof (steel) was good.

All State AGCO no longer takes on line orders for paint and maybe other thing they have. Just found it out yesterday. Has been that long ago, month maybe, that I got the aerosol Clover White. I had to order over the phone - no big deal, just thought it odd.
