Power required for JD 12a combine

Hello all
I found a JD 12a that I may want to bring home as a project. I was wondering if my tractors would be able to run one as the Ford N's seem to not have a good rep with pto pull behind combines. I have an naa and a 9n. Would these work good for it before I buy it? It is pto but its a hand bagged grain filled platform and not a grain tank.

I may be wrong, but some had the Deere LUC engine on them basically an LA tractor engine.
They have, in my research I've seen plenty, But I prefer to just use the pto if I can. Id rather not have more than one engine for me to take care of if i dont have to

Power-wise you'd be fine. The bigger concern would be the relatively fast first gear that N's have and if the combine could keep up. That would largely depend on your crop conditions.

NAA should be alright PTO power wise but might be a little light in terms of tongue weight and hills. Also, the engine torque is not there if you feed a slug of material through the combine unlike a larger cubic inch displacement engine.

Where should I add weight if thats an issue? I have a barrel of calcium I can add to the tires if needed
