Well what ya do i buy a Hy Capacity T/A assembly a gskt and seal kit a new T/A clutch and pressure plate and ya stuff it in . NOT rocket science . Helps if ya have the two special tools , BUT can be done with out they just make the job go faster.

Welcome back goat, maybe you were just a lurker meanwhile. I have been waiting for you to come back because I have $100,000 I want to give you, the catch is I will not tell you where I am at so you can pick it up. In other words it would be helpful for the purpose of your post if you told us at least what state you are in. The vet is probably right the best way to do it is to get a rebuilt unit. If you web search the IH part number 363499 you will get results for Hy-cap, but it looks like Bates has it a bit cheaper. I may be wrong but my bet is they are all rebuilt by the same source wherever that may be. If you are looking for someone to install the unit for you then your location is more important yet.

Look , for 25 years i sold and installed HY CAP products , the reason i became a Hy Cap dealer was that OH hey wait if i install something of theres and it fails i don't have to EAT the labor to redo what the customer paid for as they would cover darn near what i charged to do the job the first time on his dime . NO BODY and i mean NO BODY that offered rebuilt replacement parts had that kind of WARRANTY . The Elcheapo Hyd T/A with the two year warranty thqat i installed in god only knows how many DEAD 706's that i pulled from Dear Row of the sales that i brought back to life , field tested and resold to close friends or the ones i sold at consignment auctions with WARRANTY that went with the tractor NOT ONE ever came back . My closest friend bought one of my rag 1066's that someone else bought and ran for two years before it came back as a RAG about one step from a parts tractor and i did not RESTORE it i rebuilt it from the Radiator to the PtO with ever nut and bolt removed and fixed everything has now been on the same farm for over 35 years and just now the T/A is starting to skip , that one got a three year T/A . His first tractor from me was a 706 gas and up till we could no longer get the gas to run it on here again that one has a two year T/A . You find me true 93 octane gas and i will rebuild the engine and put it back in operation with a 40 year old T/A that was a Hy Cap. Ya want the best then this is where you go . I NEVER EVER had any issues with what they sold . And when installed as per there way and adjustments kept up they last . When i closed up and went semi retirement i gave up my dealership , BUT if i need something then i go to my other close friend' son and order from him as i WILL NOT Install anything else .

I'm in Michigan. I can install myself.
I have dealt with Kevin Meier,in Iowa. That was a few years ago, I have lost his contact info.
