Has any one ideas for remote hydrolic system. I can get one from link. Has any body used this one, are they ok. Some people say lever is in the way for getting on and off. I am looking at making post nocker. I think I will need a free flow return but assume I can just add one to this system. I have no experience of hydrolic symptoms , so any advice welcome

I understand wanting to use your tractor for the hydraulic source, however if your post knocker is going to use a cylinder, the volume of oil needed to fill large cylinder can be an issue in some tractors due to draw down of the internal reservoir. I am not sure that applies to your tractor or not, or how you are designing the hydraulics of your implement. It will add some cost, but have you considered making your post knocker self-contained? Using a PTO pump, valve and reservoir of its own may work faster and better.

I can tell you from experience that lever is going to be in the way getting on and off the tractor when you get old and your knee joints don't bend like they did when you were 20. Been there done that.

Thanks for replies. Will look into that. Knees are already older than me. I think you are right on that point. Will look into pto options

I've got an original Massey Ferguson double spool hydraulic remote that I don't need. This unit will only control single acting cylinders. Not sure if that would help you. Also I have not confirmed that it works. Was on my tractor when I bought it and I'm about to remove it because I need double acting control. Just throwing that out there if you're interested.
