Can anyone help me identify this bush hog? I thought I could find a Google image with the gearbox looking different than most brands. Its 6' wide with cat 1 and 2 three point connections. I'm looking for the brand to be able to buy the correct slip clutch pads. Part of the number on the gearbox is in one of the pictures but I don't know what other numbers are there. Thank you.

I could very well be wrong, but I think you have a Bush Hog brand cutter. My son has a model 104 of this same brand that has a lot of the same characteristics on the gearbox. The parts manual does show the tail wheel assembly that is on your cutter, therefore making it in this era vintage. I wish I could give an exact model number, but unfortunately I can't. I do know it predates the Bush Hog Squealer brand model number SQ-72, as we have on of those also. It came factory with the square box style gearboxes and tapered back end of the mower deck.

Thank you. I did find some numbers.

Yep, that is a Bush Hog gearbox like the 105? I had.

I'm pretty sure it is a 306 or 406, but I don't know the difference is from the 1306/1406.
According to my dealer, Bush Hog was somewhat recently bought out by another company. I ordered some parts and it was like pulling eye teeth to get ahold of them. Your luck may be better, but it looks to be possible if necessary to get another complete slip clutch unit from somewhere like Agri Supply Co.

It "might" be a 206, looks a lot like mine. Without the serial number tag it's only a guess. The slip clutch looks like the one on my 307 so.... who knows.
