My buddy found a way to make those shift plates for the desert sunset tractors with one stick. 8 forward and 2 reverse. It has the gear pattern engraved in itt. Wish I could describe it better or have a pic, but let me know if you are looking for one and I can have him send you a pic. Bill

if you could call or text me, that would be best. I can send a pic to your phone Bill 9two0 - 973 - 67two none

The 1st 730s & 830s (1960) used a single stick, the same as the 700 800. They used a Shift Knob w/ the Pattern on the knob. Very prized today if you could ever find one. Then CASE went to the 2 stick until the introduction of the Comfort Kings, when the Range Shift was on the dash to the left of the steering column.
@John Saeli I have an interesting one for you, grandpa had two 830s, dont have serial numbers at present, both low tin case-o-matic, both gas, one has the big shift knob as you mention, the other has the small one like a 100 series, to the best of any of our knowledge never been replaced, the other interesting fact is one (I don't remember which shifter it has) has heavy cast iron foot platforms, the other has the lighter stamped steel ones, I will see if I can get serial numbers for giggles, one is in the field right now on deadman duty for a tiling machine!
