Should I go ahead and replace ignition coil on the VAC too?

On my '51 VAC, I've finished replacing the fuel tank, sediment bowl and had the carburetor rebuilt. Now, on to ignition!

I purchased a complete distributor and it should be here this week. I also bought new Echlin points, condenser and rotor.

Back in 2015 my grandfather replaced the ignition coil, plugs, wires, etc.. Then the project sort of got shelved and now I'm determined to finish it up.

My question is, after 9 years, should I replaced the coil too? Or any chance it might work for the initial start up? The tractor has always been barn stored.

I'm paying my friend who rebuilt the carb to install all of this, so I'm just wondering if I should just buy another coil or if the one in place might work for the initial crank?

Coil should be OK. If it was here I would test it 1st.
