Stone or Concrete?

Not from Iceland!
Just picked up this material for a couple projects at my place. Something of an impulse buy, I stopped in at a local auction and it was there. Happened to be what I need.

To my eye it looks like stone. If anyone knows better, feel free to share. I’m happy with it either way.

Recycled asbestos shingle siding?

I agree it's "artificial". Surfaces are too regular to be split stone IMO. Plus you can see some "dribble" on the edges where it looks to me like the form was overfilled a tad.

Agreed, it looks manufactured. The steps in particular are exactly what I need for a steep hill. Stone slabs were too much for my loader tractor to handle. I can carry these no problem so long as I have some weight on the back.

We have a concrete paving stone manufacturer nearby, It is amazing what they can do with concrete. They make some amazing counter tops....James
