td95d wont come out of reverse

I have a td95d new holland. It is stuck in reverse. You can get it to neutral and it will bump into forward brefly but then jumps back to reverse. Any idea what i need to do to remedy this situation

Probably a rear split. The shuttle synchro is at the back of the transmission case and can be accessed from the rear after a single split. You can crawl under the cab and check the eternal linkage. You might disconnect the linkage from the shift lever and try rotating the shaft with a crescent wrench. That's about all you can do from the outside.
