Tw-5 series 2 hydraulic console

Hello all. I’ve been through the parts book, service, and operators manuals and I can’t find anything about what I circled in the attached photo. Gone from my tractor, but I can see where it mounted and there’s a wire there, assuming it is a light to shine on hydraulic console. Can any one help with what it is, maybe what page in the parts book? I am accustom to parts in the Ford book being cleverly hidden but after several hours I can’t find it. I even looked at the wiring diagrams and can’t find it. Photo is from a tractor I found on line. Thanks

Geeze. I'd just turn on your lights, and see if there is 12 volts there, then buy a cheap 12v LED light from Amazon. Really doesnt need to be OEM or complex in any way... But it is your machine!

I’m retired and look for things to keep me busy and I try to do things correct or close. I apologize if you feel I’m being too particular or if I’m wasting members time by asking what I consider to be a reasonable question. I always spend time and do research before I ask for help, replies like this, although not common make me want to not ask at all.

No… I understand. Sorry if I offended you. I’ve just spent too much time in the OEM world, and tire of their long term parts supply challenges, and look for solutions that are often better than the original (often because the new solution did not exist when the machine was manufactured). But like I said… It’s your tractor!

Be interesting to see where this goes because I do believe my 7710 series II has the same thing mounted there, I've never spent any time trying to figure out what it's for. Now I may have to check it out.

OK... You got my curiosity going... Are you sure that is not just a 12v power port? I couldn't find any drawing for a TW-5, but I found one for a 8530... And there is a power port right there.

Its a odd 12 volt power port. As I dont know what kind of plug will work in it.. My 6700 qcab, the port was small, about pencil sized.

Ok, thanks for the responses. I just assumed it was a light but I was wrong. My brain was looking for a light so I dismissed the plug in the drawing. Question answered, whatever it was, don’t need it. Cheers

I also have one wired to a phone charger. Can charge my phone out making hay without having a cord running across my lap from the dash.

Apparently the previous owner of my TW35 didn't know what it was, either. They ran 2 wires (ground, hot) up past the remote linkage for whatever they had plugged in. I use it for my chopper control box.
