UB special engine and pto question?

For some reason i am fascinated by the UB special. Anyway can any of you tell me what they did to the engine compared to a U UB? Is it 283 cubic inch? I know the bottom crankcase is different. PTO how did it get live power? An axle hand clutch like the U, internal clutch pack, or hollow shaft on clutch? Information on internet is scarce for some tractors.

Basically same as regular U except crankcase and front bolster and tin to accept power steering. Same external pto clutch on brake shaft.

Engine set up basically same as 5star. oil filter, water pump, ect. Big difference in radiator and grill between U and UB. Also hood tin and side panels.

Have owned several UTSD Specials. They are common only to the UBD Special motor wise. Not like a 5 Star diesel at all as predessor of M5.

Side note. U and UB shared the common rig gear and pinion. UB Special had same ring gear and pinion as GB.
UB Special was the first MM to have an easily interchangeable front end, from wide front to narrow front.
