Update on 7 year old shot in the head

They took a couple drain tubes out yesterday. Drs are keeping her sedated because every time she starts coming too she wants to get up. it was a 9mm Tarus pistol and I certainly do not know any of the particulars and doubt that her dad even is sure what happened. She seems to possibly have a littler less movement on the right side and Drs. say she will possibly have some problem with reaction to some things, but they say it will be awhile before they know for sure about anything. The BIG thing is She is still alive and seems to be progressing. I've known this man since he was born, he's a hunter and has handled firearms all his life. I don't have any idea what happened but am thanking God that she is still alive and needs our prayers as well as her dad

Without even knowing your family this does break my heart. I am 71 years old and have been hunting all my life and have never seen a mishap like this. Boy scouts and my late father taught us well. Thanks for the update and prayers everyday..
